Good day, SDVOSB s, VOSB s & SB's FSS Pre-Solicitation This Sources Sought is issued solely for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute the issuance of a solicitation or a promise to issue solicitation in the future. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified SB and large businesses. This is not a request for bids, quotes, offers, or proposals. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic status such as a SDVOSB set-aside if feasible. If insufficient SDVOSB responses are received to establish the basis for setting this requirement aside for SDVOSB s, the requirement may be solicited as a VOSB or a SB set aside, if no or not enough small business responses are received, this may be solicited as unrestricted, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to compete. Please direct reply in the affirmative via email if you are interested and can provide the required product/service for this requirement. Please provide your capability statement, and letter of authorized supply and distribution and any other supportive documentation. I will accept responses for this Sources Sought until the 9th of July 2026 14:00, thanks. GENERAL: C.W. Bill Young Veterans Medical Center (VAMC) located at, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, FL 33744, has a requirement for a new Genie-S85XC Telescopic Boom Lift Name Brand or Equal for the Bay Pines facility. GENERAL SCOPE: Or equal equipment must meet the salient characteristics listed below. Explanation of how equal meets each salient characteristic and must be included with quote. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: S-85 XC Self-Propelled Telescopic Boom Lift Max working Height 91 Ft. Required to reach areas on building requiring repair. Max Horizontal Reach 74ft. 6 . Required to reach beyond obstructions around buildings and work areas. Platform Capacity 660 lb. Unrestricted, 1,000 lb. Restricted. Necessary to hold workers and tools needed to complete repairs. Platform rotation is 160 degrees. Needed to adjust for access to areas being repaired. Drive speed stowed 3MPH. Necessary for transporting around campus. Tilt Sensor activation front to back 7 degrees, side to side 5 degrees. Necessary to prevent tipping. 74 HP Diesel engine powered. Necessary for fuel availability during emergencies. Anti restart engine protection. Needed for prevention of damage to engine. Dual axis joystick steering. Needed for ease of operation and safety. High Flotation air filled tires. Necessary to allow travel over turf areas. Alarm packages include flashing beacon and travel alarm. Needed for safe transport on property. Hydraulic oil cooler. Necessary to prevent overheating in Florida high temperature areas.
