Description

Amendment: Quantity on Bid Schedule for Line Item 9: Gabions, has been changed to 171.0 CY due to an error in calculation. Updated maps and drawings have been attached. Please adjust your bids accordingly. ****************************************************************************************** AMENDMENT: Removal of Site 3 (War Creek) from solicitation. Updated Construction Specs & Drawings uploaded. Bids will now be due August 14, 2026 by 2:00pm ET. **************************************************************************************** Update - Bids are now due 8-11-2026 by 2:00pm ET. ****************************************************************************************** UPDATED SITE VISIT INFORMATION.............. The Site Visit has been changed to Thursday, July 30, 2026 @10:30am ET. *************************************************************************************************** The USDA-NRCS, under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program, will complete work to remove materials in the stream that are compromising the capacity of the streams and stabilize areas adversely impacting structures. Additional details provided in attachments. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and material necessary to perform the work. 2. Follow industry standards, all federal and state, and local construction, safety and labor laws. 3. Contractor is responsible for their equipment. The Government is not liable for damages or losses of equipment due to theft or vandalism. 4. Remove all debris and excess materials from the site and dispose of them properly. SITE VISIT. Interested vendors can review the work site by attending the Site Visit on July 21, 2026, at 10:30am ET. Site Visit Location: Paved parking lot near the Rt. 52 bridge that crosses Spice Creek.
