Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Co California LLC, CAGE Code: 54181. The NAICS code is 325920. The PSC is 1377. The Contractor shall provide First Article Testing (FAT) and procurement of Squib P/N 3703-1 and Refurbishment Kits P/N 2896387 for the Inadvertent Fire Brake Actuator Mechanism (IFBAM) THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 USC 3204(a)(1), as implemented in FAR 6.103-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach; however, the Government will consider all responses received to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this notice. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. All interested sources shall provide the organization name, address, point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. In addition, all interested sources shall provide a summary of their company s capabilities.
