Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amended solicitation is to: 1) Revise the specifications listed in the Statement of Requirement (page 3) and in the Bases for Award (page 12). 2) Update the Delivery timeframe from 60 to 90 days after award (page 13). 3) All updates/revisions are highlighted in yellow. 4) All other terms and conditions shall remain the same. And provides Question and Answer document. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 123A9426Q0043 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 3-row Sugarcane Cultivator. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service in Houma, LA has a need for a 3-row sugarcane cultivator to maintain all field research plots at the Ardoyne Research Farm. Timely cultivation of the field plots is critical to control weeds and ensure adequate drainage of the fields. The unit currently used is showing excessive wear and has become costly to repair. Axel All Grade 8 bolts, nuts and washers Six (6) of Dirt Shields and Clamps and Three (3) Middle Busting Plows with clamps; unit should be set up for three (3) rows Built for 70 row spacing or customer s choice This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111 The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.
