Description

1. Purpose & Scope The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase and delivery of heavy-duty, commercial-grade utility vehicles (UTVs). These units will be integrated into a fleet tasked with maintaining expansive institutional grounds and heavy cargo transport. 2. Acquisition Set-Aside & Environment Notice ID: 072926-1 Set-Aside: This acquisition is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses. NAICS Code: 423830 (Industrial Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers) PSC Code: 2310 (Passenger Motor Vehicles) Item Name: Commercial Utility Vehicle (John Deere TX 4x2 Gator or equivalent). Acreage Target: The vehicles will be deployed to support a total maintenance area of 1,000 acres. Operators: Rotating, multi-employee crew with varied experience levels, high structural impact exposure, and field operating conditions. Primary Failure Risk: Extreme thermal load, continuous drive strain, and dusty environments. 3.
