Description

The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract and will utilize procedures with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures with Force Point, Raytheon Cyber Products, 10900-A Stonelake Blvd, Quarry Oaks 1, Ste. 350, Austin, TX 78759. The Naval Oceanography Operations Command (NOOC) requires the purchase of Raytheon High Speed Guard maintenance and support. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. A complete RFP package will be available on or about 26 August 2016, by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract as supported by a signed Justification for Sole Source. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210 – Software Publishers. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer.
