Description

NAVFAC SW, FEAD Coronado, intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 15, to EDCO Disposal Corporation (EDCO), 6670 Federal Boulevard, Lemon Grove, California 91945. The proposed contract action is for integrated waste services. See attached solicitation and justification and approval. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no other solicitation document is available. The solicitation number is N62473-16-R-2826. The RFP and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR FAC 2005-89, effective 15 Aug 2016 and DFARS-DPN 20160811, effective 11 August 2016. The NAICS code is 562111 and the applicable business size is $38.5M. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement via e-mail. Requests must include company name, address, POC name, telephone number, CAGE Code, DUNS number, NAICS code, applicable business size, and Tax ID number. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
