Description
MIG WELDER PACKAGE 3) General RequirementsThis section provides the specification requirements for the Welding Machine Package. Note: Every item listed in this section shall be accounted for in the offeror?s proposal for it to be considered (see section 6.).a) System shall meet all applicable OSHA standards and regulations.b) Vendor Shall ensure All Components of the system are compatible. c) Power supply shall have a minimum duty cycle of 100% at 36volts/400 amps.d) Machine Shall be compatible with 480-volt 3 phase power.e) System Shall be able to do the following processes,1. Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)2. Direct Current Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (DC GTAW)a. High Frequency Startb. Lift Arc3. Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)4. Pulse Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW-P)5. Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)f) The wire feeder shall be a dual wire setup.1. The Wire feeder shall have a minimum duty cycle of 100% at 100 volts/600 amps.2. The Wire feeder Shall include spool covers for 33lb wire spools.3. The Wire feeder Shall include 2, 15ft (min) 300amp Mig gun assemblies.4. The Wire feeder Shall be compatible with ?Miller style? power pins on the Mig gun assemblies.5. Wire feeder control cable and weld power cable Shall be included.6. 25 ft work sense lead shall be included.7. Vendor Shall include Feeder drive roll kits of the following sizes (Dual size reversable are acceptable).a. .035 V-Grooveb. .045 V-Groovec. .062 V-Groove8. Vendor Shall include Wire Guides of the following sizes.a. .035b. .045c. .062g) System Shall include a wireless remote foot controller.1. Wireless foot control Shall accept ?AA? size batteries.2. Vendor Shall provide batteries to fill the controller not less than 2 times.h) System Shall include a heavy-duty foot control pedal with 20ft of cord.i) System Shall Include 2 Sheild Gas Flow meter regulators.j) System Shall include 2 gas hoses (4ft min).k) Machine must include a cooler.1. Cooler must be removeable for service/repair.l) Machine must have dedicated Tig Torch Connection.m) Machine must have dedicated Tig Gas hose Connection.n) Machine must have dedicated Tig Remote Connection.o) Machine must have dedicated Stick Connection.p) Machine must have dedicated Work cable Connection.q) Running Gear/Cart Shall be included.1. 2 brackets to stow the foot controls Shall be included.r) 25 ft(min) Work Lead Shall be included.
