Description

This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of the markets offered products, services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Sources Sought. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their notice of ability, and their available services in response to the requirement described below. Vendors are invited to submit information relative to their potential of fulfilling the requirement below, in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. Pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research, the purpose of this notice is to determine if sources capable of satisfying the agency's requirements exists and to determine the commercial practices of company's engaged in providing the needed service. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. This notice in no way obligates the Government to any further action. The Government anticipates a Base Plus 4 Option Years. The Department of Veterans Affairs Durham Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center, is conducting Market Research through this sources sought notice. This notice will help determine the availability of qualified Businesses, registered under NAICS code 334516, capable of providing the below Name Brand consumables for the GloCyte system: Cartridge Kits, RBC Reagent, TNC Reagent, Pipette tips, OsmoPro Max Maintenance Kit, OsmoPro Max Calibration kit, Inserts, OsmoProMax enzymatic cleaner kit. All respondents shall indicate the following: Whether or not they are small business manufacturers of the products they wish to offer, or Whether or not they are distributors of a small business manufacturer. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services under the same or a related NAICS codes. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services that are registered under the same or a related NAICS code with the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE); Provide the certification type (SDVOSB/VOSB), Federal Identification Number, and state of incorporation for each. Do you plan on responding to a solicitation for this requirement with a Joint Venture utilizing multiple owned companies as majority or non-majority owner? Yes ___No ___ If yes, please identify which companies are considering a Joint Venture and the ownership of each company. Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs If the contractor can provide the above items, the contractor shall provide a letter from the manufacturer stating they are an authorized distributor/licenser of their products. Failure to submit an authorized distributor letter shall result in the product(s) potentially offered to be considered grey market and shall not be considered technically acceptable. If the contractor can provide the above product and services, please indicate in your response that the above requirements can be met and provide a brochure of its product. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than September 22, 2026, at 1000AM EST to the attention of Krisanne.Dernago@va.gov
