Description
Sources Sought: AK NPS DENA 10(64), Re-pave Riley Creek Campground Roads This solicitation is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only for the proposed contract work listed in the requirements section below. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. Plans and specifications are not available at this time. Responses to this Sources Sought must be received by email no later than the date specified in the response section. This intent of this sources sought is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone, and other Small Businesses interested and capable of performing the proposed contract work. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company has the capability and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: a. Company Name b. Address c. Point of contact d. Phone and email e. UEI number f. Bonding Capacity (per contract) g. Type of small business, e.g. Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business h. Listing of your highway/bridge construction experience within the last 3 years where you were the prime contractor for work of similar type and scope. Include contract numbers, titles, locations, dollar amounts. Requirement The proposed contract action is for a firm-fixed-priced construction contract. This project is to rehabilitate the Riley Creek campground road to extend the service life. This work consists of: Aggregate base, paving, striping and pavement repairs of the Riley Creek. This project is located approximately 125 Miles SW of Fairbanks, AK. NAICS Code 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction apply to this procurement with a size standard of $45 million. The project is anticipated to go on advertisement in Fall 2026 with construction in Spring 2027. Estimated Price Range: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Response: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should include all information requested in (a) through (h) above. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall respond to this sources sought by e-mail to wfl.contracts@dot.gov or MS forms link below no later than September 3, 2026, 1400 PST.
