Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a contract to SRCTec LLC, North Syracure, NY for the upgrade of SR Hawk radar systems from Spiral 6 to Spiral 7 configuration. The upgraded systems will be used as spares for MVSS-R systems. The contract was awarded as a one-time, fixed price contract. SRCTec LLC possesses unique technical expertise required to perform the SR Hawk Radar upgrades, including proprietary knowledge of system architecture, software configuration, hardware integration requirements, and calibration procedures. The upgrade requires access to manufacturer-controlled firmware, proprietary diagnostic tools, specialized test equipment, and configuration management processes that are not available to third-party vendors. Market research was conducted by the requiring organization to identify potential alternative sources capable of performing the required SR Hawk Radar upgrade services.
