All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are NOT offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Information Requested from Industry: In response to the Sources Sought, interested Contractors shall submit the following information and any Capabilities/Qualifications Statement to include but not limited to an overview of proposed solution(s) and a description of the product your company possesses in accordance with the Statement of Work draft / Salient Characteristics List. Responses to market research table questionnaire shall be submitted. If this information is not provided, then it will be assumed the entire requirement cannot be met. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for one Computer Controlled Air Pressure Generator Equipment System for Oklahoma City VA Medical Center. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for information and planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and shall not be construed as an obligation or commitment by the Government. An award will not be made on any offers submitted in response to this notice, and it shall not be implied the Government is committed to providing any solicitation or award following this notice. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate a respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided. Computer Controlled Air Pressure Generator Equipment System - Qty 1. The offer must meet the capabilities of the line items listed in addition to the following salient characteristics: Description Part Number Qty Computer Controlled Air Pressure Generator System 1 Perfusion Set, 4-set box (included with system, no cost) 1 Laptop with PumpControl Software 1 Windows 11 Software 1 1 Year Software Computer Controlled Air Pressure Generator Equipment Services 1 Salient Characteristics: Pump and Fluidic Unit: The Pump moves the cell culture medium in a closed tubing system, which is essential for maintaining sterility Perform tubing calibration using tubing and reservoir system. Pressure setpoint adjustment: 95 mbar to +95 mbar Valves must reliably switch states per programmed unidirectional/oscillatory timing. Pumps must maintain stable pressure within ±5 mbar of setpoint. Equipment must be a Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU Equipment must be Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30/EU Equipment must be RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Equipment must meet EN 61010 1, EN 61326 1 safety/electrical standards Software: Pump Controller and Fluidic Unit are to supplied laptop. Verify USB and power connections; confirm function of LEDs (Power, USB, Mode, Air, Valve State) according to manual specifications. Confirm Windows 11 64 bit requirements, disable power-saving features as required for safe, uninterrupted operation. Verify Pump Software exits demo mode and recognizes pump hardware. Sets data logging paths, alarm thresholds, and program settings per Section 4 of the manual. Load example demo experiments for validation (Demo Experiment, Remove Air Bubbles). Apply recalibration factor for accurate shear stress calculations as required. Flow parameter calculations (shear stress, shear rate, flow rate, pressure) Shall Provide Digital copies of all manuals Calibration and test run report Completed Installation & Operational Verification Checklist All tubing and reservoir system must be recognized simultaneously by Pump Software. System must record pressure logs and export data correctly. 3. Scope: The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center requires procurement, installation, configuration, and readiness verification of one Computer Controlled Air Pressure Generator Equipment System to support controlled flow assays and perfusion-based applications. The system will be used for endothelial, shear stress, and microfluidic cell culture experiments.
