Description of Amendment - 1. Question - Provide photographs of the chemical containers, labels, and waste storage area. Answer - See Attachment 4, 5 and 6 2. Question - Provide approximate amount remaining in each container or bottle. Answer - See Attachment 2 -The information we submitted should has both the estimated volume remaining in the container along with the total weight of the product to be disposed of and the containers are labeled. 3. Question - Provide Safety Data Sheets for the chemicals listed in the Disposal Inventory. Answer - See Attachment 2 - The CAS numbers are listed for anyone wanting to find the SDS information. All other terms and conditions remain the same. Description - Scientists at the Roman L. Hruska U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) are developing scientific information and new technology to solve high priority problems for the U.S. beef, sheep, and swine industries. A biproduct of this research is hazardous waste that must be removed and disposed of properly. Contractor will provide qualified personnel and all labor for the segregation, classification, and packaging of hazardous waste in accordance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and State regulations. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0789 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for removal of hazardous waste in Clay Center, NE. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 562112 The small business size standard is $47M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
