Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground on behalf of Product Manager Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM SCIE), intends to award a modification to Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract number W911QY-23-D-0005, providing Ram Air (RA-1) Parachute Systems for high altitude military freefall operations, on a sole source basis under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition at 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by RFO FAR Part 6.103-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements" to Airborne Systems North America (ASNA), CAGE: 05QR4, 3100 W. Segerstrom Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92704-5812. The contract modification will extend the ordering period of the subject contract for 12 months with no changes to the existing ceiling value. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interests of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability regarding this requirement no later than 12:00 P.M. EST, 17 September 2026. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the supplies and/or services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's bona fide capability to satisfy these requirements. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
