Description

The purpose of this Sources Sought is to assess the level of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of small business communities for this project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 237990, with a size standard of $45M. The Government is contemplating a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with a five (5) year ordering period, not to exceed $2M. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three (3) years. Any responses involving teaming should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The 341st Contracting Squadron at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Great Falls, Montana, is anticipating a solicitation for a HICS Boring and Erosion project. The place of performance will be for up to 40 locations throughout the 10th, 12th and 490th Missile Squadrons in the Malmstrom AFB Missile Field located within a 140-mile radius of Great Falls, MT. These 40 sites will vary in type of work from directional bore to erosion repair. The directional boring will consist of placing a continuous length of 4 or 6 conduit a minimum of 5 below the creek or riverbank. The conduit will start and stop within the Missile Cable Right of Way/Easement. The erosion repair will include placement of riprap, filling of dirt, topsoil, the installation of broad-based dips, water turn outs and wattles. During construction, the Government will make every effort to provide the Contractor with sites in close proximity to each other to facilitate ease of construction and to keep mobilization efforts to a minimum. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, supervision, services, and materials to execute and satisfy the requirements of this Contract. *This request for Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or obligation in part of the Government to acquire any products or materials. No contract award will be made as a result of this Sources Sought. This information is provided to the government at no cost.*
