Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, Troop Support, Philadelphia, PA Medical Directorate intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) to Carahsoft Technology Corp, on behalf of Nuance, address 11493 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA 20190, for the procurement of the following brand name Server equipment, software licensing and associated incidental services Product: PowerScribe 360 Remote Migration, software licenses This award for brand name software licenses and incidental services will be placed on a sole source basis with Carahsoft, on behalf of Nuance, as the following circumstance in FAR 12.102(a) applies: only one source is available to provide the services required at the level of quality required because the services are unique or highly specialized. The software licensing is for the PowerScribe 360 brand name voice dictation systems already in place at the required sites ( Brooke Army Medical Center, Walter Reed National Medical Center, Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Evans Army Community Hospital, Womack Army Medical Center, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Madigan Army Medical Center, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Naval Medical Center San Diego, Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Tripler Army Medical Center, Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital, Travis Air Force Base). The absence of software licensing, migration and incidental services will cause significant work-stoppage for voice dictation for radiology systems. Thus, only the exact brand name licenses and incidental services will meet the customer's needs. The estimated value of this contract is $ 177,503.10. Delivery schedule will be discussed prior to issuing the award. The anticipated award date is September 8, 2026. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, that all responsible sources and interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by submitting technical data for this requirement data within six calendar days of this notice posting (no later than August 24, 2026), by 2:00 PM EST, to Colleen Quinn, via email at Colleen.Quinn@dla.mil, which shall be considered by the agency. Please note telephone calls will not be honored. DLA Troop Support intends to solicit this requirement in accordance with FAR 12.201(c)(2), thus no written solicitation will be issued.
