Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12444726Q0018 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The USDA-Forest Service Savannah River Site (USDA-FS-SRS) in controlling the wild hog population located on the Department of Energy, Savannah River Site (SRS) property managed by the USDA Forest Service. The work being performed will consist of capturing and dispatching wild hogs primarily using various traps. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 114210 The small business size standard is $8.5Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The attached Q&A document is provided for informational and clarification purposes only. These responses do not modify, alter, or change any of the existing terms, conditions, specifications, or the proposal due date of the original solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. This Q&A provides clarifications on hog?removal requirements at the Savannah River Site, including historical hog?removal volumes, expected annual ranges, continuous trapping expectations, firearm approval procedures, trap inspection requirements, baiting allowances, optional dog?pack use, and logistics for staging equipment. It addresses invoicing flexibility, BPA funding caps, year?round readiness expectations, personnel limitations, and the role of subcontractors. It also identifies previous BPA contract numbers, historical annual payments, and confirms that pricing per hog is determined by the offeror. Amendment to Solicitation 12444726Q0018 The U.S. Department of Agriculture is issuing Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 12444726Q0018 for feral hog trapping services. This amendment incorporates an updated U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination 1975?0208 (Revision 78) into the solicitation. The updated wage determination adds the Wildlife Technician labor classification with a required rate of $21.76 per hour. All offerors must ensure their proposed labor rates comply with this revised wage determination. No other changes have been made to the terms, conditions, or requirements of the solicitation. Offerors are required to formally acknowledge receipt of Amendment 0001 in accordance with the solicitation instructions. The period of performance for this requirement remains October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2031.
