Description
26 August 2026 - Amendment 1 of the solicitation (including amended attachments) and Government Responses is hereby posted for review and action. **************************************************************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as amended by the FAR Overhaul (RFO), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Ht940626QE077 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to procure a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract for non-personal services to provide recurring collection, hauling, and disposal of municipal solid waste from a Government-owned compactor at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC), Fort Eisenhower, GA. The contractor shall provide all labor, vehicles, and supervision necessary to perform the service on a fixed twice-weekly schedule. The core performance requirements are to collect and return the compactor within a two-hour window and to perform quarterly preventative maintenance. The attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) provides full details.The contract will consist of one (1) Base Year and four (4) twelve-month Option Periods. The Government may also extend the term of the contract for a period of up to six (6) months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. Competition Approach: 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS Code 562111). Submission of Proposals: Contractors must follow the requirements of FAR 52.212-1 Addendum, 52.212-2 Addendum, and the Proposal Instructions and Evaluation Criteria provided in the solicitation document (See Attachment I - Combined Synopsis/Solicitation) to create the proposal. The proposal is required to be submitted electronically to the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist on or before the date and time specified in SAM.gov. Period of Performance: Base Period: 01 October 2026 - 30 September 2027 Option Period 1: 01 October 2027 - 30 September 2028 Option Period 2: 01 October 2028 - 30 September 2029 Option Period 3: 01 October 2029 - 30 September 2030 Option Period 4: 01 October 2030 - 30 September 2031 FAR 52.217-8 Period:: 01 October 2031 31 March 2032 Questions or Clarifications: Questions must be addressed to: erin.l.biser.civ@health.mil AND lenore.y.paseda.civ@health.mil by email only no later than 12:00 PM Eastern StandardTime on 21 August 2026.
