Description

VIRGINIA Class Tailcone Solicitation. This acquisition is for a follow-on single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period being awarded on a competitive basis. The objective of this procurement is to manufacture VIRGINIA Class submarine Advanced Material (AM) Version 5 (V5) Tailcones. The Government will require a minimum of one (1) Tailcone with a limit of 20 Tailcones over the five-year ordering period. Please contact the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer for the applicable drawings. The purpose of this update (0003) is to include Questions and Answers, dated 16 January 2026.
