Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry to include the Other than Small and the Small Business Community. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the potential requirement is anticipated to be 337127, Institutional Furniture Manufacturing. The small business size standard for this NAICS, as established by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is 500 number of employees, annually. The Product Service Code for the potential requirement is anticipated to be 7110, Office Furniture.Project Name: DHA27i Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD), San Diego, CA, Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) Initial Outfitting and Transaction Services Project Description: This requirement will include the following: Commodity procurement/install, Staff transition from current building to new building, Ribbon cutting (Public Affairs), Disposition of excess furniture and equipment, and Submittals. Transition Services includes the (1) move of reuse property to new or newly renovated facilities, (2) the disposition of non-reuse property and (3) incidental services related to the moves such as a) notifying the public, b) staff orientation, and c) cleaning.
