Description

Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. 6 Aug 26 - Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics has been updated to redact the 'CUI' at the top of the pages. This was put on inadvertently by the computer system. THis heading does not apply to this Attachment. The 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Management requires modern, comprehensive, and securely stored general mechanics hand tool kits, equivalent to or exceeding the functionality of current ITK Tool Kits (specifically Snap-On KTL1022APBO in the desired layout - see Attachment 1), to effectively perform critical maintenance actions on Altus Air Force Base s fleet of 372 vehicles and associated equipment. We are seeking solutions that provide five (5) comprehensive, mobile, and secure tool systems designed for general mechanics hand tool applications. The primary objective is to equip our technicians with reliable, ergonomic, and compliant tool systems that eliminate current operational deficiencies and enhance overall fleet readiness. See Attachment 1 for detailed description of salient characteristics required, and Attachment 3 for submission evaluation criteria. Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contacts by 10 August 2026. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of proposals. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity ID Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
