Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. The following is attached for you to complete and review: Buy American Act (BAA) Drawing 1 - DSG-000109878 FP Commercial Supplies-Services T&C s ( August 2023) SLAC_General_Ts_Cs_Supplemental_Rider_Aug2026_Rev1 Request for Quote: Qty-1 of FZSi Monochromator(220) EC1 reflective surface polishing other surfaces etching EC 1 size 30 X 7.5 X 22mmt Angle polishing 85 Evaluation Factor- Material Single-crystal silicon (Si). Crystal orientation Si (220), as specified in drawing DSG-000109878. Vendor shall provide the orientation for surface D. Dimensions and tolerances Crystal geometry and dimensions shall conform to drawing DSG-000109878. Dimensional tolerance: +/-0.02 mm or better where specified; angular tolerance: +/-0.1 degree or better. Crystallographic orientation accuracy Crystallographic orientation shall meet the tolerances specified in DSG-000109878 with miscut <0.02 degree Diffraction-surface edge polishing Diffraction surfaces A and B shall be polished as indicated in DSG-000109878. The designated diffraction regions shall be polished continuously to the specified edges, with no unpolished edge exclusion zone. Surface roughness RMS surface roughness of diffraction surfaces A and B shall be 5 nm or better. Surface flatness RMS surface flatness of diffraction surfaces A and B shall be 100 nm or better. Surface C Surface C may be supplied good as cut, as specified in DSG-000109878. Machine damage / induced strain All surfaces shall be free of machine damage and etched to remove induced strain. The crystal shall be free of strain after polishing/etching. Orientation marking Crystal orientation shall be inscribed/marked as indicated in DSG-000109878. Technical compliance documentation Vendor quotation/proposal shall explicitly confirm compliance with the material, dimensional, crystallographic-orientation, edge-polishing, roughness, flatness, etching, and marking requirements above. Quote is for product only; no on-site services permitted. Source selection will be based on Lowest Priced Method and best Lead-Time. Is there any room for additional discount such as for Academic, ICPT, GSA, or Government Institutions? Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards over $15,000 unit price. Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs are valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return. Please include in your proposals the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code) if applicable. All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). If possible, please provide a link to your webpage for published price list to substantiate for the prices quoted. The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please markup terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
