Description

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Contracting and Procurement (C&P), and Surface Operations (SO) intends to issue a solicitation using other than full and open competition. Accordingly, the TSA in-tends to award a sole-source contract to QuickSeries Publishing Inc., 5100 NW 33rd Ave, Suite 247, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. This contract will address requirements of the SO office for the current electronic version (APP) of domain-specific security awareness training guides, referred to as E-Guides. The E-Guides provide comprehensive coverage across multiple transportation modes, including Pipeline, Highway and Motor Carrier, Mass Transit and Passenger Rail, Freight Rail, School Bus Transportation, Motorcoach, and Cybersecurity. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, within 10 days of posting this Notice of Intent. This notice of intent is not a re-quest for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the dis-cretion of the Government.Information received will nor-mally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contract the above named company directly.
