Description
The Technology Application Program Office (TAPO) is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of providing the requirement. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it obligate the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Objective: The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) seeks to identify potential vendors (including small businesses) to inform its acquisition strategy for a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP) or to determine the appropriate competitive procedures. Information gathered will be used for acquisition planning purposes only. Requirement: The Government seeks to identify potential sources that possess the capability to satisfy agency requirements for an Air Vehicle Computer (AVC) for military rotary wing Air Vehicle System (AVS) and to procure a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) or modified COTS Air Vehicle Computer. This computer will serve as a centralized, safety-critical processing unit within an air vehicle, consolidating functions such as general processing, graphics and video processing, and data distribution into a single Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). The system must be designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) to ensure interoperability, reusability, and future growth. Additionally, an Operational Flight Program (OFP) is currently in development; the proposed AVC solution must be capable of hosting and executing this OFP Air Vehicle Computer (AVC) for military rotary Air Vehicle System (AVS). The specific capabilities sought, and the description required: Key Information: NAICS Code: The Agency has tentatively assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) to the requirement, but interested sources can recommend other NAICS Codes for consideration. Small Business Size Standard: Standard Business Size is 1,350 employees. PSC: 1680 - Miscellaneous aircraft accessories and components CMMC: Level 2 CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) Certified Required Documentation: Interested sources must submit a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Certification Program (JCP) approved DD Form 2345, DD Form 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. Information on the JCP can be found at: https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/ Response Requested: Interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement (on company letterhead) demonstrating their qualifications, capabilities and experience in providing the requirement.
