Description

Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled "Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes," this announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. Naval Supply Center (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest to provide Audio Engineer Instructor Support Services to the Naval School of Music (NAVSOM), in Virginia Beach, VA. This is a sources sought notice ONLY. There is NO solicitation at this time. Requests for a solicitation in response to this notice will not be answered or taken for consideration. This notice is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). A Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract consisting of one (1), twelve (12)-month base period and three (3), twelve (12)-month option years is anticipated. The performance is anticipated to begin 24 September 2026 and continue through 23 March 2031. Included in the period of performance is the Government s option to extend by six (6) months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-8. It is anticipated that this requirement, if solicited, will be under NAICS code 611699, and the small business size standard is $16.5M. Responses to this Sources Sought request shall include the following information: Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number and email address. Unique Entity ID and Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. Capability statement displaying the contractor s ability to meet the Government s requirement, in either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF. Type and Size of Business (Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned). Distance of business from the Place of Performance. Reponses to this Sources Sought request shall be submitted electronically to Abbey Taylor at mary.a.taylor263.civ@us.navy.mil no later than 9 July 2026 at 10:00AM EST NOTE: Proprietary information should be clearly marked. The requested information is for planning and market research purposes only and will not be publicly released. Again, this is not a request for a proposal.
