Description

Bat Exclusion Services Building 13 Chapel This is a Sources Sought Notice for market-research purposes only. It is not a solicitation, request for quotation, or promise that the Government will issue a future solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified businesses capable of providing bat-exclusion services at Building 13, the Historic Chapel, located at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, Tennessee 37684. The work includes sealing potential bat entry points, installing bat cones to allow the bats to exit and prevent reentry, returning within one to two weeks to remove the cones, permanently sealing the remaining openings, and providing a one-year warranty. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed to perform the work. See the attached Statement of Work for additional information. NAICS Code: 561710 Exterminating and Pest Control Services Interested businesses should provide: Company name, address, Unique Entity ID, and point of contact. Business size and socioeconomic status, including whether the company is a certified SDVOSB or VOSB. A brief statement confirming the company can perform the entire requirement. Any questions, concerns, or recommended changes to the attached Statement of Work. Rough-order-of-magnitude pricing, if available. Responses must be submitted by email to Shania.kimbrough@va.gov no later than 8/21/2026 10:00 CST . The Government will use the information received to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. Respondents will not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparing or submitting a response.
