Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The 374th Contracting Squadron (CONS) located at Yokota Air Base,Japan is issuing this Notice to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Fixed Priced Purchase Order (PO) under FAR RFO Part 12.102(a) Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The intended Contractor is UNIQUE COMMUNICATIONS SOLUTIONS (UNIQUE) In consideration of the circumstances of the contract action, UNIQUE is the only source that can fulfill the entirety of the requirement. The requirement is for the procurement and installation of hardware , software configuration, database conversion, system migration, and comprehensive user training. As the new Air Force wide initiative mandates that the CAIRS is to be migrated to the Air Force s enterprise CAIRS solution. Subsequently the services provided is proprietary to UNIQUE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334112. The Product of Service Code for this requirement is 7A21. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive quotes. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Government shall not be responsible for any costs incurred resultant of responding to this notice. This notice does not serve as a request for quotes or proposals. No solicitation document is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
