Description

This Special Notice to potential developers offers notification of this partnership framework between HECO and DON which makes MCBH land available for development of energy generation infrastructure in support of HECO and DON energy resilience and power generation requirements enabling the modernization of the energy ecosystem on the Windward (Eastern) side of Oahu. This notification is solely for the purposes of advising industry of an RFP recently released by HECO that incorporates critical DON energy resilience requirements and offers utilization of non-excess land at Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH). The Government IS NOT awarding a contract or agreement directly from or as a result of this notification.
