This sources sought is for market research purposes only. No award will be made based on the information submitted as part of this posting. If an organization believes they have a similar product that can accomplish the below information, please submit a capabilities statement and product breakdown to Mr. Casey Hupton at casey.hupton.1@us.af.mil before the response due date. Offutt Air Force Base is seeking sources for an autonomous aircraft washer. Below is a draft statement of need outlining general requirements for the product. STATEMENT OF NEED This requirement is for the purchase of an autonomous aircraft washer which will reduce man hours and supply costs spent washing aircraft. The provided items shall meet or exceed the following requirements: Semi-autonomous mobile robotic aircraft cleaning system controlled via an ergonomic, wireless remote control. 100% Electric (Battery) Powered. The onboard battery must hold sufficient charge to continuously operate and complete at least one full wide-body aircraft cleaning cycle lasting approximately 6 hours. Integrated automatic safety shut-off sensors that immediately halt all motion and brush rotation if the equipment gets too close to or makes unauthorized contact with the aircraft skin. Breakdown of the equipment: Mobile Robotic Wash Base Unit Adaptive Wash Arm & Soft Brush Assembly Integrated Collision-Avoidance Sensor Suite Wireless Remote-Control Unit (RCU) Industrial Battery Charging Station Operator & Maintenance training On-Site Installation & Commissioning New Equipment Training (NET) Course for 6 Individuals 2 year warranty Contractor shall provide products that meets or exceeds requirements above.
