This Sources Sought Notice SPE605-26-RFI-1016 is for information only and shall not be construed as a Solicitation, nor as an obligation on the part of Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA-Energy). The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify qualified businesses that are interested and capable of providing for the direct delivery of fuel to various Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Civilian (FedCiv) locations in North Carolina. This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only. Requests for solicitation will not be responded to and no contracts shall be awarded based on the responses received. This acquisition is restricted to 100% small business. Please identify your socioeconomic concern, if applicable. Description: In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 10, DLA Energy is conducting market research to identify interested vendors capable of providing fuel products to DLA Energy customers located in North Carolina (Customer Organized Group (COG) 4 region). The qualifying North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 324110. The resultant contract type will be a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment contract. Delivery Address: Various locations in North Carolina. Scope and Timeframe: Products to be solicited may include: Gasoline, Reg Unl (MUR); NSN: 9130-00-148-7103; Estimated Quantity: 30,600.000 USG Delivery modes may include Tank Truck W/Pump. Tank Type: 1 - Above Ground Tank, Capacity 4,500 Gallons Truck & driver must be able to board an LCM-8 vehicle transport vessel to access site on Piney Island, NC. Truck driver will offload fuel and drive truck back onto the LCM-8 vehicle transport vessel for return. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance is from Date of Award to 30 September 2029.
