Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport provides research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, analysis, and assessment, and fleet support capabilities for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, and offensive and defensive undersea weapon systems, and stewards existing and emerging technologies in support of undersea warfare. NUWC utilizes prototype Other Transaction Agreements (OTA or Agreements) under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 4022 to partner with nontraditional and traditional defense contractors and non-profit research institutions to carry out prototype projects that are directly relevant to enhancing the mission effectiveness of military personnel and the supporting platforms, systems, components, or materials proposed to be acquired or developed by the DoD, or the improvement of platforms, systems, components, or materials in use by the armed forces. NUWC intends to advertise for competition at least eight separate OTAs via its Consortium OTA with the Undersea Technology Innovation Consortium (UTIC) via Advanced Technology International (ATI). For more information on these opportunities please see the below: More information on the OTA process can be found here - https://www.underseatech.org/utic-ota/ More information on the UTIC membership can be found here - https://www.underseatech.org/join/
