Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), this action is executed under the authority of RFO 12.201-1 (Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and is publicized in accordance with RFO 12.202(a) and RFO 5.101(a). Intended Source: Company Name: PAMAS USA Partikelmess - und Analysesysteme GmbH The Government requires commercial preventive maintenance and calibration services for two (2) Automated Particle Counters: Model PAMAS SBSS-C Counter Console with HCB-LD - 50/50 Sensor The requirements document in the form of "Performance Work Statement" is attached to this notice. This notice of intent is not a formal request for competitive proposals. A solicitation will be issued to the intended source after the expiration of this notice. Any party who believes they can perform this requirement should submit a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability of consideration by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discrtion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must demonstrate their ability to meet the Government's strict technical and safety requirements (including access to OEM proprietary data) by submitting documentation electronically to the Contracting Specialist at kelliann.a.shimote.civ@us.navy.mil and Contracting Officer at lyndon.g.paloma.civ@us.navy.mil no later than the response date and time specified above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
