Description

In accordance with FAR Overhaul Part 6.301(b) public disclosure requirements, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support is posting this notification of award and the associated Justification and Approval (J&A). This new bridge contract action was executed as other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Class Deviation 2026-O0017 Revision 1 (Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 6, DFARS Part 206, and Revolutionary FAR Overhaul Part 6.103-1) under the statutory authority permitting sole-source acquisitions when only one responsible source can satisfy agency requirements. The action approved under this J&A is the authority to solicit solicitation SPE300-26-R-0047 on an Other than Full and Open Competition basis. The resulting contract, SPE300-26-D-3022, has been awarded to Labatt Institutional Supply Company, DBA "Labatt Food Service" (CAGE Code: 0S378) to ensure continuous, uninterrupted full-line food and subsistence support to DLA customers throughout the El Paso, Texas, and New Mexico regions. This bridge contract features a period of performance of 434 days, running from August 2, 2026, through October 9, 2027, or until a new long-term contract is successfully awarded. A copy of the redacted J&A and the original Solicitation/Statement of Work are attached to this public notice.
