Description

The 131st Mission Support Group contracting office intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with RFO FAR 12.201-1(c)(2) using simplified procedures to award a single firm-fixed price purchase order for body armor for the installation's civilian police force. The anticipated delivery will be within 30 days of award. This is a presolicitation notice only and no quotations are being requested at this time. No formal solicitation documents will be posted to SAM.gov. The RFQ will be issued directly to local suppliers that can meet the Government's need for in-person gear fitting at the installation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Anticipated award is by 4 September 2026.
