Description
9/3/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post Amendment 001 to the RFP; update the Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) portfolio and the Supplemental Technical Data file; and respond to questions submitted in response to the Final RFP. The updated CBA portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 8/31/2026 - Update The Government is drafting responses to the questions submitted in response to the Final RFP. The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following revision to the tentative schedule for the NPSC-SR II acquisition: Estimated Proposal Due Date: No earlier than September 14, 2026 Subsequent milestone dates remain unchanged. Please note an Amendment to the RFP is forthcoming to reflect the proposal due date, among other revisions. 8/6/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the NASA Protective Services Contract - South Region (NPSC-SR) II. Refer to the memorandum to potential Offerors within the portfolio, RFP 80KSC026R0016 Notice to Potential Offerors for more information. 8/4/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to revise the estimated release date for the solicitation. For planning purposes, the Government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about August 7, 2026. 7/17/2026 - Update This notice is made pursuant to FAR 5.101: NASA/KSC plans to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the following commercial products or commercial services: protective services (refer to the Attachments/Links section for more information). The type of set-aside and NAICS code is identified in the Classification section. The size standard is $29.0 million. The anticipated release date of the RFP and anticipated proposal due date is specified in the April 13, 2026, Update. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which must be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at https://www.hq.nasa.gov/office/procurement/regs/Procurement-Ombuds-Comp-Advocate-Listing.pdf This posting, in addition to any attached documents, will be available on https://sam.gov/. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 6/25/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Virtual Presolictiation Conference presentation charts. 6/11/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following industry engagement opportunities for the NPSC-SR II acquisition: Virtual Presolicitation Conference: June 24, 2026 One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: Week of June 29, 2026 Virtual Presolicitation Conference: The NPSC-SR II source evaluation team will host a virtual presolicitation conference on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. The virtual presolicitation conference is open to all interested parties. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of NPSC-SR II requirements and the draft request for proposal (DRFP) to improve understanding and increase efficiency in proposal preparation. The overview will be followed by a question and answer session. Individuals interested in attending the virtual presolicitation conference are requested to contact the Contracting Officer, Melissa Boughton, at ksc-npsc-sr-ii@mail.nasa.gov not later than 12 p.m. ET on June 22, 2026, identifying the following for each attendee: first and last name, position or title (to include the company s respective contract manager or administrator), and company name. A Microsoft Teams link and a dial-in number will be provided prior to the conference. Briefing charts will be posted to https://sam.gov/ following the conference. One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: The NPSC-SR II source evaluation team will also hold one-on-one meetings with potential prime offerors the week of June 29, 2026. The purpose of these one-on-one meetings is to provide an opportunity for potential prime offerors to elaborate on comments submitted in response to the NPSC-SR II DRFP. Potential offerors must contact the Contracting Officer at the address provided above not later than 5 p.m. on June 24, 2026 to request a one-on-one meeting. Include the first and last name, position or title (to include the company s respective contract manager or administrator), and company name. The source evaluation team may also contact other interested parties regarding comments provided in response to the DRFP. One-on-one meetings will be via Microsoft Teams. The meeting date and time, Microsoft Teams link, and a dial-in number will be provided by the Contracting Officer in a separate email. Meeting durations will be approximately 1 hour. 5/21/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the NASA Protective Services Contract - South Region (NPSC-SR) II. Potential Offerors are requested to review and comment on the DRFP. Refer to the memorandum to potential Offerors within the portfolio, Draft RFP 80KSC026R0016 Notice to Potential Offerors for more information. Additionally, the type of set-aside has been revised from a competitive 8(a) to a total small business set-aside, and the anticipated contract length has been increased from five years to six years, six months. The CBA portfolio has been updated. 5/7/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to update the Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) portfolio. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 4/13/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to revise the preliminary schedule for the NPSC-SR II acquisition and to release preliminary versions of the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Position Tables in advance of the Draft Solicitation. Note: Requirements identified in the preliminary version of the Draft PWS and Position Tables are based on the best information available at the time of publication and are subject to revision. Additional preliminary requirements documents (e.g., PWS annexes and appendices) may be released in advance of the Draft Solicitation to facilitate understanding of the NPSC-SR II requirement. Comments and questions may be submitted after release of the Draft Solicitation.
