Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Neptune 3 Smoke Evacuator Preventative Maintenance The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Stryker Sales, LLC to provide ProCare services for preventative maintenance on ten (10) existing Stryker Neptune 3 Rovers and two (2) Neptune 2 dockers at the Miami VA Medical Center. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency s requirements. The Contract is firm fixed price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Administration size standard of $34.0 million. Period of Performance: Base: 08/01/2026 07/31/2027 OY1: 08/01/2027 07/31/2028 OY2: 08/01/2028 07/31/2029 This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available, and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer at john.quijadajr@va.gov . Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
