Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available, and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Healthcare Contracting Division, Southeast (DHACA-HCD-SE), plans to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Dr ger, Inc. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 12.102(a) For acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision" as Dr ger, Inc is the only responsible source capable of providing preventative maintenance and repairs on Anesthesia equipment that meet the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune s requirements. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, vehicles, materials, supervision, transportation, and services necessary to effectively, economically, and satisfactorily perform all services for the maintenance and repair of medical equipment for Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL), NC. Program Requirements: The contractor will be required to provide Inspections, Preventative Maintenance and Calibrations on a 12-month cycle per the OEM. Upon award the contractor can reach out to the (MTF) Medical Treatment Facilities BIOMEDICAL team to receive the predetermined maintenance plans already assigned at NMCCL Camp Lejeune Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Equipment List: Requested services include all preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance necessary for the equipment listed below. Identified equipment is only used on human patients and not in a veterinary setting. The identified equipment below requires preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance. Materials and Equipment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. Capability Statement: Capability statements shall not exceed 3 (8.5 x 11 inch) pages using a font size no smaller than 11-point. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the government is not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. Capability statements are due by 0700 AM, ET, 26 June 2026.
