Description

Notice of intent to issue a sole-source purchase order to Abbot Point of Care, Princeton New Jersey for i-STAT blood analyzer maintenance services. The Healthcare Technology Management Sustainment Section at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX, requires meidcal equipment maintenance and repair of its 23 Abbott i-STAT blood analyzers. These are used to test blood gas, checnistry, coagulation, cardiac markers, with test results in minutes for help in the treatment of patients. Abbott is the only vendor that can perform repair and preventive maintenance of this specialized equipment. The period of performance is one year, 1 October 2026 through 30 September 2027.
