All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged with all final offers by 10:00am EST Thursday on June 18, 2026. Offers shall be emailed to Crystal Volmar at crystal.volmar@va.gov Answers To Questions Submitted What is the height of all hoods and is there access to duct lines. Building 86 Canteen main kitchen: 78 from floor to bottom of hood. Exhaust fans are easy access and are on the same level. Building 86 Canteen serving line: 78 from floor to bottom of hood. Exhaust fans are easy access and are on the same level. Building 7 main kitchen: 81 from floor to bottom of hoods. Easy access to rooftop where exhaust fans are located. Building 7 serving line: 78 from floor to bottom of hood. Easy access to rooftop where exhaust fans are located. How many systems are there? Building 86 Canteen main kitchen: 1 exhaust hood 12 -6 long (Hobart-model Econo Vent-SN NFS1112). Building 86 Canteen serving line: 1 exhaust hood 4 6 long (Hobart-model Econo Vent-SN NFS113). Building 7 main kitchen: 2 exhaust hoods each are 16 long, back-to-back (Moli-Tron). Building 7 serving line: 1 exhaust hood 7 hood (Moli-Tron). How many filters are there? There are five (5) filters. Is there self-washing systems? Yes, there is a self-washing system on the Building 7 Main Kitchen back-to-back exhaust hoods. Do you need any special equipment to complete the work? The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personnel services necessary to perform exhaust hood cleaning services as defined in the Performance Work Statement. Can we do the cleanings in any month, days, and times? Building 86 Canteen: Monday-Friday with a start time of 2:00pm and must be completed by 2:00am the next day. Building 7 Kitchen: Monday-Friday with a start time of 7:00pm and must be completed prior to next shift beginning at 4:30am the next day.
