Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The 97th Operations Support Squadron requires an Eaton UPS Flex Service Plan that covers preventive maintenance/service for two Eaton UPS systems located in buildings 530 (RAPCON) and 550 (DASR). The required service will include parts and labor coverage, best effort (8 hours) response time, any time battery/7x24 preventive maintenance, and technical support. The duration of service is one base year, plus option for four-month extension. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole source award to Eaton Corporation (CAGE: 31795), due to being the only source capable of providing service support for Eaton developed proprietary service software for 3-phase UPS products. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of RFO 6.103-1 and 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. Requests for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a single source procurement. Capability statements are due on 18 August 2026 by 1:00 PM CDT. Capability statements shall be submitted by email ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to patricia.bigornia.1@us.af.mil and kacie.halpain@us.af.mil. Capability statements and supporting documentation provided after the due date listed above will not be reviewed. Please see attached Sole Source Justification and Performance Work Statement for further information.
