Description

The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 12.201-1 to obtain services for a full-service maintenance and support contract for government owned Fresenius 2008T Hemodialysis Machines. Anticipated Period of Performance: 8/19/2026 through 8/18/2027, with the provision of four (4) 12-month Options through 8/18/2031. Basic Description of The Requirement: The Biomedical Engineering Department at the VA New Jersey Health Care System (NJHCS), East Orange Campus, requires a full-service maintenance and support contract for government owned Fresenius 2008T Hemodialysis Machines. These devices are essential for providing life sustaining renal replacement therapy to Veterans and require specialized OEM service to ensure they remain in optimal operating condition. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on 8/7/2026 at 4:00 PM CST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Specialist Lee Kern at lee.kern@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
