Description
Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the format Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.202, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular, FAC Number 2026-01, effective date 03/13/2026. This solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The FSC/PSC is 5810. Objective: To equip the VA police with harbor-wide radios for communications. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 02 Network Contracting Office, is seeking sources that can provide waterproof, rugged, push-to-talk LTE capable + Wi-Fi Radios, headsets, radio docks, and radio holders that at a minimum meets the following salient characteristics: Salient Characteristics of the Push-to-Talk Waterproof, LTE + Wi-Fi Radios: Quantity: 100 Rugged. The following information shall be included in this notification: A complete item description and identification to include part, lot, and serial numbers where applicable. Administrative identification data, including order numbers and order date. Reason(s) for defect, recall, removal, adjustment, or modification; and instructions for appropriate corrective action. Defective Items/Warranty: A limited warranty will be included.
