NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR FWS BRANCH OF FIRE MANAGEMENT for Staff Ride Training for National Fire Meeting TO OMNA INTERNATIONAL LLC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Acquisition & Property Management, Servicing U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source To OMNA INTERNATIONAL LLC 8305 BROADMORE LN SPOTSYLVANIA, VA 22553 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 611430 Professional and Management Development Training $15 Million. The object of this sole source award to OMNA INTERNATIONAL LLC for Training for USWFS National Fire Training Meeting. OMNA is the preferred vendor with its extensive knowledge of military experience with over 20 years working and partnering with wildland fire organizations. OMNA has a unique skill of translating military history to today's wildfire leadership and organizational needs. This translation is key to our training needs. The request is for Antietam Battlefield Staff Ride to accommodate 100-150 people with a minimum of 6 different conference groups. Vendor must provide travel, lodging, and per diem. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
