Description

In accordance with RFO-FAR 37.202-1, and to avoid contractor personnel appearing to be, in effect, Government employees, all EPA contractors, during the performance of any EPA contract and in all points of contact (e.g., during meetings and when using or communicating through Agency systems such as voicemail or electronic mail), must clearly identify themselves as EPA contractors and identify their employing organization (employer). Additionally, contractor personnel utilizing an EPA email address must ensure that any signature blocks used in written or electronic communications with or on behalf of the Agency accurately reflect EPA s current organizational structure and do not imply Government employment, position titles, or organizational alignment reserved for Federal employees. All EPA contractors shall ensure that their signature blocks conform with this notice. This guidance is effective immediately.
