Disinfection of Water Distribution Systems This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as an RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2026-01. This solicitation is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561499, with a small business size standard of $21.5 Million. The FSC/PSC is H946. The Battle Creek VA Medical Center is seeking to purchase inspection, testing, and recharge services for various types of fire extinguishers. The following Wage Determination applies to this procurement: Wage Determination: 2015-4835 Revision No.: 33 Date of Revision: 08/13/2026 Available At: www.sam.gov Performing a comprehensive disinfection of the SPS system within the VA facility utilizing approved chlorine, ensuring the maintenance of system integrity, adherence to safety standards, and operational readiness. Additionally, the contractor shall conduct quarterly sanitation of buildings 3, 14, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 39, 82, 83, and 84 using chlorine, with additional sanitation services as needed. The scope also encompasses completing the annual maintenance of the RO Loop in building 136.
