NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR FWS Whitney Genetics Lab, WI for comprehensive maintenance and service support for an Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System (Serial Number SH00902) to ILLUMINA, INC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Acquisition & Property Management intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.103-1 only one responsible source To ILLUMINA, INC. 5200 Illumina Way San Diego, CA 92122 USA The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, $34,000,000 The product service code (PSC) for this requirement is J066, MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- INSTRUMENTS AND. The object of this sole source award to ILLUMINA, INC., is for comprehensive maintenance and service support for an Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System (Serial Number SH00902) for a base year and up to four option years, subject to the availability of funding. The contractor shall provide a comprehensive maintenance and service agreement for the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System that includes, at a minimum: - All replacement parts - Labor - Travel costs - Reagent replacement required as a result of hardware failures - One (1) annual preventative maintenance service - Remote technical support (5x18) - Two (2) business day on-site response time - Control software updates and upgrades - Hardware updates and upgrades - Applications support All preventative maintenance services shall be performed in accordance with OEM-recommended procedures and documentation requirements. All maintenance and repair services must be performed by technicians who are trained and authorized to service the Illumina MiSeq i100 Plus System. The anticipated award date is July 21, 2026. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
