PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Subject: Expand Cardiology Service (Construction Services) Location: Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL Proposed Solicitation Number: 36C24826R0124 Closing Response Date: 08/29/2026 POC: Calixte Saintil, email: calixte.saintil@va.gov. This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, North Florida / South Georgia Veterans System, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) has a requirement to Expand Cardiology Service at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The construction scope includes, but is not limited to, demolition, site preparation, architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical work. The contractor shall complete the work required within five hundred forty-eight (548) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm. The solicitation will be issued on or about 08/29/2026. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at www.sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV). Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, offerors must be listed in the SBA Veteran Certification site https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ as an active SBA SDVOSB certified.
