Award Notice Award Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey awarded a sole source, firm-fixed price contract, contract number 36C10B26C0052, on July 1, 2026, to Varian Medical Systems, Inc., 3100 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, California 94304-1030, United States, on the basis of other than full and open competition for the procurement of FullScale on Premise and software maintenance as implemented by the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) VA Deviation 6.103-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Please see the attached Justification and Approval for Other than Full and Open Competition for detailed information. The total award amount is $552,000.00, with a twelve month period of performance. FullScale on Premise is an application information technology hosting solution that provides a single point of responsibility for support of Varian software applications and underlying server infrastructure. FullScale on Premise is currently in use at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. Based on market research analysis, the Government s technical experts determined that only Varian Medical Systems, Inc. can meet the full requirement and be eligible for award within the time constraints to avoid a break in service. The primary North American Industry Classification code for this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $34M. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This notification shall close on July 22, 2026.
