Description

DESCRIPTION: In accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) 7.107-3, Notification of Consolidation of Contract Requirements, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District is publishing this Special Notice to advise industry of the approval of a Consolidation Determination and Findings (D&F) for a $280 Million Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Facilities Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) Design-build/Design-Bid-Build Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the Omaha District AOR. The USACE Command Senior Contracting Official (SCO) has formally determined that consolidating these requirements is both necessary and justified. The consolidation will establish a single Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with an estimated total capacity of $280,000,000 over a five-year base period. JUSTIFICATION FOR CONSOLIDATION: Through comprehensive market research, the government has concluded that consolidating these requirements provides the best value to the Government. For additional details, please review the attached Redacted Consolidation D&F. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposals(RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S.Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. No proposals are being requested or accepted at this time.
