The type of set-aside and NAICS code is identified in the Classification section. The size standard is $16.5 million. The anticipated release date of the RFP and anticipated proposal due date is specified in the May 7, 2026, Update. The updated portfolio has been released as a controlled attachment. 6/25/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to post the Virtual Presolictiation Conference presentation charts. 6/11/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to advise of the following industry engagement opportunities for the NFSC II acquisition: Virtual Presolicitation Conference: June 23, 2026 One-on-one Meetings with Potential Prime Offerors: July 6-7, 2026 Virtual Presolicitation Conference: The NFSC II source evaluation team will host a virtual presolicitation conference on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET. The virtual presolicitation conference is open to all interested parties. The purpose of the conference is to provide an overview of NFSC II requirements and the draft request for proposal (DRFP) to improve understanding and increase efficiency in proposal preparation. The overview will be followed by a question and answer session. Additionally, the type of set-aside has been revised from a competitive 8(a) to a total small business set-aside. 5/7/2026 - Update The purpose of this notice is to revise the preliminary schedule for the NFSC II acquisition and to release a preliminary version of the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) in advance of the Draft Solicitation. Note: Requirements identified in the preliminary version of the Draft PWS are based on the best information available at the time of publication and are subject to revision. Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is hereby soliciting information from potential sources for the acquisition of fire services, as described herein, under a contemplated NASA Fire Services Contract (NFSC) II. The NFSC II contract will succeed the current NFSC contract, with performance commencing no earlier than October 2026. The NFSC II will support the following locations: Ames Research Center (ARC), Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), KSC, White Sands Test Facility (WSTF), Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), and Stennis Space Center (SSC). NASA is seeking capabilities from all interested parties, including all socioeconomic categories of Small Businesses and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or Small Business and HBCU/MSI subcontracting goals for this requirement.
